Important Paryushan Event Notes

• All Labharthis to arrive on time for events. If late, it is possible your Labh may be passed on to others.
• If members are interested in participating during Shree 108 Parshwanath Pushpanjali Anushthan (Pooja) & Uvasagarum Kesar Abhishek Pooja, please ensure to attend the event in pooja clothes. Participation in Mini Siddhe Chakra Poojan is possible with clean clothes only.
• Boiled water: For all members doing Tapasya, please make your own arrangements for boiled water on all days.
• Please bring your own Katasana and other Pratikraman gears that you might have. We have planned for all those who do not have.
• Labharthis to please refrain from parking their cars within a 100m zone from the Gruh Jinalaya.
• All Sthanakvasi everyday evening pratikaman will be held at 29 Craft Road, Pallara on the same timing of regular evening pratikaman.
• Management committee reserves the right to amend any of the above programs, should circumstances change, without advance notice.

General Paryushan Notes

• During Paryushan, ideally, one shall perform 17 Pratikraman - Morning & evening Pratikraman during the 8 days of Paryushan and morning Pratikraman on Parna day
• Anyone performing evening Pratikraman must not eat after sunset.
• Anyone performing morning Pratikraman must have stopped eating prior to sunset on previous day.
• During Paryushan, one shall confine meal intake between Navkarshi & Sunset time and avoid eating green vegetables (Jain should not eat root vegetables).
• Anyone performing any Tapasya (Ekasanu, Biyasanu, Upvas, Aayambil) must drink boiled water and have meals between Porsi & Sunset time only. It is also important to take appropriate pachchakhkhan.
• Please deposit the annual membership fees of $101 per family and $51 per single members to the BJS Account (BSB 064 117 | Account No.10365684)

For all catering purposes, please RSVP online for each separate event before 28.08.2024.

Please note for the specific meals listed below, BJS shall be collecting $15.00 per person per plate for Lunch & $10.00 per person for dinner in advance of the events to cover a nominal cost for the food provided on the day. The amounts paid for the meals are non-refundable. The monies are intended to be collected in advance, and if no deposit is received by BJS before the event, the cost of per plate per person on the day of the event shall be $20.00.
